- Get into a routine!!
I always do my planning and decorating on Sunday nights. It’s a weekly routine and it helps me stay on top of every task I need to achieve. It is also very calming to spend hours being creative.
2. Make the planner YOU!
Decorating the planner, DIYing the front page etc makes the planner unique. Put your own touch on it and make it special.
3. Buy stickers!
I know what your thinking, ummm why stickers? Stickers make such a difference while planning. Although stickers are not needed it just adds a nice look to your planner. Look at the difference between the first picture …..

4. Get a planner that fits your needs!
If you don’t have a lot to write, get a small planner. A planner that will benefit your everyday life. Small planners are always better to take on the go!
5. Invest in some good pens and markers to make your planning experience better!
